How do I Delete my Reddit Account
1) Log in to your Reddit account at https://www.reddit.com/login/.
2) Click on your username found in the upper right corner of your screen. From the drop-down menu, choose “User Settings”.
3) Your previous action will take you to the Account settings page. Scroll down and click on the “Delete Account” button.
4) You will then be asked to re-enter your username and password. This is to prevent other people from being able to access and delete other people’s profiles without their consent. You may also share the reason why you are deleting your account, however, this is optional. Make sure to check the acknowledgment and understand that when you deactivate your account, it will be irreversible. Then click on “Delete”.
5) Please keep in mind that deactivating your account will not remove the comments and posts you made on Reddit. You also won’t be able to go back to them once your account has been deleted. You will have to manually remove each comment and post because they will still remain in Reddit history even after deleting your account.
As a final step, you will be asked to confirm one last time if you are sure you want to delete your account. When you’ve decided already, click “Delete”.
