OkCaller: How to Opt Out of OkCaller | Step-by-Step Instructions

Last Modified Date: Dec 26, 2023

In this post, we’ll cover what OkCaller is and Step-by-Step instructions on How to Opt Out of OkCaller.

What is OkCaller?

OkCaller is an online phone directory that gathers and saves private data about individuals and organizations. Users can look up phone numbers and addresses, and background information is given pertaining to the individuals listed. This might be helpful for people who wish to learn more about a person they are interacting with, or to verify the legitimacy of a business. However, OkCaller should be avoided if you do not want to share personal information. OkCaller website users are required to enter their phone number on the website and are then solicited for personal information to “verify” their account. Users who disclose this information run the risk of falling victim to identity theft. You should immediately get in touch with your credit card company and deactivate your card if you think OkCaller may have received your personal information. Scammers can use it to target potential victims.

Never give out your personal information online or over the phone unless you are 100 percent certain of the person or business you are dealing with in. Additionally, before providing any information to a website, you should always review its privacy policy.
