How do I Opt Out of PeopleWhiz Manually?
1) Navigate to the PeopleWhiz.com website here: https://www.peoplewhiz.com Scroll down all the way to the bottom of the homepage and find the Remove My Info link under Company and click it.
NOTE: There are a few steps that occur simultaneously in the PeopleWhiz opt out process. Confirming you requested to be opted out will be sent to your email inbox, and proof of identification is required. Follow the steps provided below to remove your personal information from the PeopleWhiz.com website.
2) On the Remove My Info page that opens, click the Here link to search for your PeopleWhiz profile and begin your opt out.
3) Enter your first and last name, and the city and state where you live into the search fields, then click Search Now.
4) Browse through the search results and locate your record. Click on the That’s Me button located to the right of your record.
5) In the next window that opens, enter your email address and click NEXT. PeopleWhiz will send you an email containing an opt out confirmation link.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. 6) PeopleWhiz requires proof of identification to complete your opt out. Select how you would like to send your identification from the choices, complete the security CAPTCHA and click NEXT. In the image below MAIL COPY OF ID is selected.
7) Selecting MAIL COPY OF ID and clicking NEXT in Step 6 will display mailing instructions.
8) In the meantime, check your email inbox for an email from PeopleWhiz.com. Open the email and click the Confirm Opt-out link in the email message.
9) After clicking the confirmation link in the email from PeopleWhiz, confirmation of your opt out request will appear. Once your proof of identification has been received, your personal information will be removed from the PeopleWhiz.com website.
