How do I Opt Out of PeopleLooker Manually?
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, or Virginia, page down for State specific opt out instructions.
General opt out instructions are provided below.
1) Go to the PeopleLooker website here: https://www.peoplelooker.com/. Scroll all the way down the home page and click the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link under Help.
2) A pop-up will appear. BeenVerified processes opt out requests for PeopleLooker. Click Do Not Sell My Info to proceed with your opt out.
3) You will need to search for your record to opt out. Enter your first and last name as directed and select the state where you live from the state list. Then click Search.
4) Find your record from the search results and click Proceed to Opt Out to the right of your record.
5) In the next window that opens, enter your email address in the space provided, complete the security CAPTCHA and then click Send Verification Email.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. 6) Check your inbox for an email from BeenVerified. Open the email and click the Verify Opt-Out link.
7) A message confirming your opt out request will appear. Your personal information will be removed from the PeopleLooker website by BeenVerified.

5) Find your record from the search results and click Proceed to Opt Out to the right of your record.
6) On the next page that appears, enter any additional information you would like opted out by clicking the down arrow next to the options and entering the information requested. Check the certification box, complete the security CAPTCHA and then click Remove My Info.
7) An on screen message will appear confirming your opt out request was successfully submitted. An email message will be sent to your inbox with instructions for finalizing your opt out.
8) Check your inbox for an email from BeenVerified. Open the email and click Verify Opt-Out.
9) A message confirming your successful opt out will appear. Your personal information will be removed from the PeopleLooker website by BeenVerified.
