How do I Opt Out of SearchUSAPeople Manually?
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, page down for State specific opt out instructions.
General opt out instructions are provided below.
1) Go to SearchUSAPeople and scroll down to the bottom of the home page. Locate the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link and click it.
2) In the Removal Request – Opt – Out Information section, you will be redirected to the Infotracer company site. SearchUSAPeople is affiliated with Infotracer. Infotracer processes opt outs for SearchUSAPeople. Click the Infotracer link and follow the opt out instructions on their webpage, or click here https://infotracer.com/optout/
3) In the removal form, enter your first and last name, the state where you live from the drop down box, and then enter the city where you live. Then click Submit.
4) Before they show the search result, you need to check the verification box to confirm that you are not a robot.
5) Locate your profile from the search results and check the Select Record box. Then click the Remove Data button.
6) In the next form, enter your email address and any additional comments you wish to provide in the Comment section. Complete the security CAPTCHA and click the Submit button.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. 7) An on-screen notification will appear asking you to confirm your request.
NOTE: After hitting Submit for Step 7 above, if you have additional profiles that appeared in the search results in Step 5 you would like to remove, click the green Back to Result button indicated in the red rectangle in the image above and repeat Steps 4 and 7 above.
8) Check your email inbox for a message from Infotracer. Open the email and click the confirmation link.
9) You will receive a notification that your opt out request is being processed and your personal information will be removed from SearchUSAPeople.

Complete the security CAPTCHA and click the Submit button.

5) Infotracer will send you an email to verify your identity in order to process your opt out request.
6) Сheck your inbox for an email from Infotracer. Open the email and click the Confirm Email button to initiate your opt out.
7) A confirmation message will appear. Your personal data will be removed from the SearchUSAPeople site on behalf of Infotracer.
