How do I Opt Out of RecordsFinder Manually?

1) Go to the RecordsFinder website here: RecordsFinder.com. Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and click on the Opt Out link.

2) In the personal information removal form provided, enter your first and last name, select the state where you live from the drop-down, and enter the city where you live. Then click the SUBMIT button.

3) Several reports with personal information will appear. Locate your personal record from the list and check the box under the Select Record column. A Remove Data button will appear under the Request to Remove my Data column. Click the Remove Data button.

4) In the next form that appears, enter your email address, a comment if you want, complete the security CAPTCHA and click the Submit button.

5) A message will appear instructing you to check your email inbox for an email from RecordsFinder to confirm your opt out request.

6) Сheck your inbox for an email from RecordsFinder, open the email and click the Click Here link to confirm your personal data removal request.

7) RecordsFinder will process your opt out and remove your personal information from their website.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia State Resident specific opt out instructions are provided below.

3) A RecordsFinder Privacy Web Form will appear. Select your state from the options, click the Myself and Delete My Information boxes, enter your first name, last name, email address, and reason for your opt out in the Request Details box. Middle name, date of birth and phone number are optional. Complete the security CAPTCHA and click the Submit button.

4) RecordsFinder will send you an identity verification email.

5) Сheck your inbox for an email from RecordsFinder and open it. Click the Confirm Email button to process your opt out.

6) Confirmation of your opt out request will appear and your personal data will be removed from the RecordsFinder website.
