How do I Opt Out of Apollo.io Manually?
1) Open a web browser and navigate to the Apollo.io website here: https://www.apollo.io/. Scroll down the homepage until you locate the Browse Apollo’s Directories indicator. Click on it to display the People and Companies search directory options.
Locate your personal profile by clicking on the first letter of your first name from the People directory and follow the prompts on the next window that opens.
2) Once you have located your name from the people search results, access the details of your personal profile by clicking on your name.
3) Your personal profile will be displayed. Copy your profile URL from the web address area as indicated in the red rectangle in the image below.
4) Stay on your profile web page and scroll down to the bottom. Find the Do Not Sell My Info link and click on it.
NOTE: If you cannot locate your profile from the People search directory, page down to the bottom of the Apollo.io home page and find the Do Not Sell My Info link and click on it. Then continue to Step 5 below.
5) In the opt out form that opens, enter your business email address into the field provided and then click the Click here to opt out of Apollo button.
6) A message will appear instructing you to check your business email inbox.
7) Check your business email inbox for an email from Apollo.io. Open the email and click the Click here to proceed with the verification link.
8) An on screen message from Apollo.io will appear confirming that your information has been removed from their website.
NOTE: In the example message below, Apollo.io could not locate the business email or any information associated with the business email provided in Step 5 above. Apollo has added the business email to their suppression list and it has been opted out of their database.
However, if you were able to locate your profile by following Steps 1 through 3 above, paste your profile URL into an email to privacy@apollo.io and request that your information be removed from the Apollo.io website.
