What is USATrace?
USA Trace is a people search data broker. Access to billions of verified public records allows anyone to initiate background check searches, marriage and divorce searches and searches by social security number on the USATrace website. Full names, age, current and past addresses and phone numbers. email address and names of spouses and relatives are some of the types of personal information provided.
How do I Delete and Remove Myself from USATrace?
Currently, there are three ways to remove your personal information from data broker sites like USATrace:

How do I Opt Out of USATrace Manually?
1) Go to the USATrace homepage here: https://www.usatrace.com/ Scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on the https://www.usatrace.com/your-privacy/ link.
2) A webpage about Your Privacy will open. Scroll down to the bottom of the webpage and find the People Search area. Opting out of USATrace requires you to search for your profile URL. Enter your First Name, Middle, Last Name, City (optional) where you live into the search fields and select the State where you live from the drop down. Then click START.
3) The Your Privacy webpage will open again, scroll down towards the bottom, past the People Search area to the list of profiles. Locate your profile and click the Copy Link button next to it. You have copied your USATrace profile URL required for opting out.
4) Open your email provider page and send an email to research@usatrace.com with Block Info as the Subject. Then, paste your profile URL from Step 3 into the body of the email and send it.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. 5) Check your email inbox for an email confirming your opt out request from USATrace. Your information will be removed from the USATrace.com website.
