How do I Opt Out of NJParcels.com Manually?
If you are a resident, or were previously a resident of the State of New Jersey, your personal information might be on the NJParcels.com site.
Using a web browser, navigate to the NJParcels.com search page here: http://njparcels.com/search. Properties and records can be accessed by Address, Owner Name, Sales Records, or Voter Records. Search instructions for each option are provided below.
To Search Properties By Address, enter your street address in the field provided and then select the county or region of your property from the drop down list. Then click the Search Addresses button.
To Search Properties By Owner Name, enter your name in the field provided and then select the county or region where your property is located from the drop down list. Then click the Search Owners button.
To Search Sales Records, enter your name in the field provided and select the Search Both option to obtain more accurate results. Then click the Search Sales Records button.
To Search Voter Records, enter your name or your address, or a combination of both. Then click the Search Voters button.
Once you have initiated your search, locate your listing from the results provided.
For results from Search Properties By Address or Search Properties By Owner Name, click the listing that matches your information. Name results will appear under Owner Information.
For results from Search Sales Records, click the listing that matches your address. Verify your information matches either the Seller or Buyer column of the listing results.
For results from Search Voter Records, click your name. Verify that your name matches your address and age in the search results.
Once you have clicked on your listing, a new web page will open. Copy your profile URL from the web address bar. The profile URL is indicated in the red rectangle in the example images provided below.

After you have copied your listing URL, go to the top of the web page and click Redaction to start your opt out.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. After your opt out request has been submitted, an on-screen notification will appear that will include your opt out information. Your opt out request will be reviewed, and your information will be removed from the NJParcels.com site within 7 days upon approval.
