How do I Opt Out of FastBackgroundCheck Manually?
1) From a web browser, navigate to FastBackgroundCheck’s opt out page here: https://www.fastbackgroundcheck.com/opt-out.
2) In the form provided, enter your email address, check the agreement box and complete the security CAPTCHA. Then click the Begin Removal Process button.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address, and NOT using your own primary email address. 3) In the next window that opens, enter your full name, city, and state where you live in the fields provided. Then click on the FastBackgroundCheck button.
4) A new window will open with search results. Scroll through the results to find your profile and click on your name – indicated by the red arrow in the image below.
5) After you click on your name, a new window will open containing your personal information. Click the Remove my record button to initiate your opt out request.
6) A notification will appear stating a confirmation email has been sent to the email address you provided in Step 2 above.
7) Check your inbox for an email from FastBackgroundCheck. Open the email and click the Click here to remove verification link to finalize the removal of your personal information from the FastBackgroundCheck site.
8) FastBackgroundCheck will confirm your opt out request and remove your record within 72 hours.
